Location is perfect for accessing Times Square and Central Park. The condition of the rooms is dated and needs improvement. Wi-Fi is available with a code from the front desk, which is convenient. Expect some noise from the hallway and other guests at night.

The staff greeted me with warmth when I checked in, making me feel instantly at home. The location is a dream, just a quick stroll to all the action! My room was comfy and clean, with a fantastic view and fast WiFi—it was perfect for relaxing after exploring.
Would be happy to recommend 🥰✨

The location is a prime spot, just a short stroll to Times Square. The porter was a gem, super helpful and full of good vibes.
The room cleanliness was quite lacking.

Location is perfect, just a short walk from Times Square. Rooms need updates and have thin walls, which can be noisy.

Deceptive first impressions. The lobby feels vibrant and welcoming, but the rooms tell a different story. We were given a room that was vastly below expectations. My companions and I endured noise from the hall and a lack of soundproofing that shattered our peace. The accommodations were outdated and unclean. Stained mattresses, dusty surfaces, and malfunctioning fixtures left us questioning the hygiene standards. Hot rooms and uncomfortable beds led to restless nights. The location is convenient, but that doesn't justify the state of the facility. The staff is not to blame; they were polite and attentive.

Comfortable room, comfortable location with easy access to my favorite store for fresh-made juices and a peaceful environment away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Utterly happy with everything.

My recent stay was fabulous because I was just a few steps away from Broadway, Central Park, and Times Square, making it super easy to stroll around and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city; plus, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the small shop on site was perfect for grabbing snacks. Despite the hotel needing a major upgrade, with old carpets and some maintenance issues, it was fine since I was out exploring all day and only needed a clean place to sleep!

Location was convenient with easy access to transportation. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, making it easy to rest after a day out exploring the city. Plenty of toiletries and towels were provided, which was a nice touch.
The lack of air conditioning made the room unbearably hot, forcing us to open the windows to the noisy street below. The room and bathroom were not clean, with stains on the carpet and mold in the bathtub.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Central Park and Times Square. The staff, especially at check-in, were accommodating and friendly. the room itself felt outdated. The bed had a hard mattress, and we often woke up with sore backs. The air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival, and even after a maintenance visit, the room remained hot. The bathroom had leaks, mold, and the shower curtain was in poor condition. The carpets in the hallways appeared worn and needed replacement. Despite the pleasant reception area, the rooms could definitely use significant improvements.

The hotel is perfectly placed for exploration, being just a few steps from Times Square and Broadway, as well as only a short stroll away from Central Park and the Rockefeller Center, making it easy to soak in the vibrant city atmosphere and discover landmarks at your leisure, while the staff were friendly and accommodating, but the condition of the rooms could use some attention.

The room smelled musty, and the bed felt like it had a board under the mattress. Plus, the AC was so noisy I couldn't sleep. Definitely not worth the money!

The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. The room was spacious and perfect for our honeymoon.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but it felt worth it for the experience.

Terrible experience. Dark, dated rooms with walls that need serious attention. One USB port? Really? I found half a waffle under the table and gum in the carpet. The musty smell was overwhelming—almost made me choke! the staff remained friendly and professional despite the chaos. After a long wait at check-in, my room wasn't even what I reserved. I had to ask for extra towels, and the room safe was broken. On the bright side, the nearby subway made it easy to escape this mess for better options.

Our family had an amazing time exploring the vibrant energy of Times Square on The Official Times Square Walking Tour. It was a fantastic opportunity to immerse ourselves in the area's history and the legacy of Broadway. The kids were thrilled to see the iconic stores decked out in beautiful flowers, making it a truly memorable experience for all.
My children wanted a larger variety of kid-friendly dining options nearby.

Maximize budget by staying central. Enjoyed Fifth Avenue shopping. Rock Observation Deck views were stunning. Central Park is a gem. The Met virtual tour was a cultural delight. Empire State meals were delightful.

So, my experience at The Manhattan was a bit of a mixed bag. Being just a short walk from Times Square was super convenient and made exploring the city a breeze. Now, onto the not-so-great parts. The staff, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. They were quite rude and seemed disinterested in helping with any issues we had. The check-in process was a bit of a hassle, and it took forever to get a new key card when ours randomly stopped working. The rooms themselves were a bit hit or miss. Some were outdated with peeling wallpaper and holes in the walls, while others had been nicely renovated but were incredibly noisy due to the laminate flooring and gaps under the doors. The cleanliness was also lacking, with mold in the bathroom and overall maintenance issues throughout the hotel. One major issue we faced was with the heating situation. The thermostat didn't work, and we were told that the hotel controlled the temperature, which was set to 100 degrees! In the middle of winter, we had to resort to opening a window to try and cool down, which was far from ideal. the rooms did have brand new TVs, and the soundproofing worked surprisingly well despite the noisy surroundings. But overall, I'd say The Manhattan is alright for a quick, budget-friendly stay if you can overlook the shortcomings in comfort and service.

The location was perfect for our romantic escape, just a short walk to Times Square and plenty of restaurants nearby. The spacious and cozy room provided a nice retreat after exploring the city all day.
The rooms were dated and in desperate need of renovation. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with stains on the floor and walls, and even a fire alarm hanging precariously.

My squad and I had a blast exploring Times Square on The Official Times Square Walking Tour and soaking up the Broadway vibes at the massive Art-Deco theater. From orchid extravaganzas to cherry blossom festivals, we were living our best life!
We wished for a more lit nightlife scene for young party animals like us to keep the energy going after a day of adventures.

The Manhattan At Times Square is in an AMAZING location, close to Times Square and the theaters. The subway stops are conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the city. The elevators were quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They even assisted with luggage storage. The hotel offers a 24-hour reception and security, ensuring a safe and convenient stay. The room facilities were great, with a comfortable bed, modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge and microwave for added convenience. a great stay for business travelers like myself.
Bathroom cleanliness could have been improved.
